Crew cabins (flight attendants) have traveled to many places and they spend a lot of their time in the aircraft cabin. This makes them know a lot of things about planes, about what should and should not be done while on board.
As reported by Ekspress.co.uk, one of the things that flight attendants recently revealed is not to drink aircraft tap water.
According to Healthline, a recent test of tap water on a plane found that the water was unsanitary, and of course the quality differed from one airline to another.
The test said that they found the presence of microorganisms in airplane tap water, including bacteria.
The researchers suggest not to drink water when on the plane including water used for tea and coffee, except water that is sealed in a bottle. They also advised against washing hands with tap water on the plane.
One flight attendant told Business Insider that flight attendants would rather not drink various drinks on the plane.
The attendant said: “Flight attendants will not drink hot water on the plane.
“They will not drink plain coffee, and they will not drink plain tea.”
This is because when the water tank is cleaned, they are never told when and how many times.
Beverage is not the only thing suggested by flight attendants to avoid. Airplane cabins can get very dirty because of the large number of people who travel air. For example, never enter a toilet barefoot and you should always wear shoes in the cabin and never take them off unless absolutely necessary.
How about you? After knowing this fact, do you still like to order drinks for flight attendants?
